Arcadia Unlimited is a new attraction that we have                                                                                                            been working on since 2024.  Here is how it all came                                                                                                        about.  Ever since opening Arcadia, many guests                                                                                                                have asked us why we charge quarters for each play                                                                                                        rather than having a single admission fee at the                                                                                                                door and leaving all the games free to play.  We have                                                                                                        great answers for this question.  However, because                                                                                                            many of our visitors have expressed their preference                                                                                                        for the pay-at-the-door business model that seems                                                                                                          to be how everyone else does it, we decided to create                                                                                                       yet another arcade here in McLean, this one featuring                                                                                                       this business model.

                                                                                                     So in 2024, we set out to build the best free-play                                                                                                               arcade in the world.  Although it will be a multi-phase                                                                                                       project, we have opened Phase 1, which is an offering of approximately 200 classic arcade games - all free to

play with your all-day come-and-go as you please

admission pass.

It took us over 2 years of tireless work to complete the

massive renovation of (the first portion of) this 100 year

old building, and to restore the over 200 arcade games

that are playable within.  We now, finally, have a gift shop

where you can purchase souvenirs such as T-shirts, hats,

hoodies, magnets, stickers, etc.

                                                                                                    The games consist primarily of video games from                                                                                                              the 70s, 80s, and 90s.  There is one row of pinballs

                                                                                                    and some newer games as well.  We have tried to 

                                                                                                    include as many of the best-loved classics as possible

                                                                                                    In addition, we have some of the rarest games ever

                                                                                                    made.  If you grew up going to the arcade, I can assure

                                                                                                    you that you will find games you loved in Arcadia

                                                                                                    Unlimited!

We did section off one small "Party Area" in a corner, so

you can reserve this area just to have a couple of tables

and some chairs to gather and set your stuff while your

party group is enjoying unlimited classic arcade gaming!

Like our party room in Arcadia, this area is free to reserve

but your party guests will still need to pay admission to

Arcadia Unlimited. 

 

I will attempt to list the titles in Arcadia Unlimited below,

but I know from experience that I will not be able to keep

up with all the changes / additions / rotations so consider

this list more of an approximation of what you will find

in Phase 1 of Arcadia Unlimited.

 

                                                                                                                    We have big plans for Phase 2 of this project.

                                                                                                                    I will avoid spoiling the surprise, but there

                                                                                                                    be several hundred more arcade games in

                                                                                                                    the next phase of development.  Phase 1 is in

                                                                                                                    the basement of 104 E. Morgan St., and Phase

                                                                                                                   2 will consist of the entire ground floor, which

                                                                                                                    is a few thousand sq. ft. larger than Phase 1!

                                                                                                                   

                                                                                                                    It's fairly subjective to differentiate between

                                                                                                                    "classic," "rare," and "other" videogames, but

                                                                                                                    I've taken a stab at it anyway.  Here are the
